yea, that was really encouraging to me, i think we've talked about how overwhelming this stuff is, in small group after reading Not For Sale. i think Kevin finds the in-between area where you should feel encouraged for what you are doing, and not guilty for not doing enough.
That's always been an interesting one for me... especially in evangelism. We tell everybody about the free gift of God and there is nothing you can do to earn it or deserve it. Then as soon as someone comes to Christ we whip out this laundry list of things they have to do - quiet time, small group, church, tithe, service, etc... all good things and all things that you will do out of gratitude and love - but it's not a forced thing.
