Feel and Groove

This one is just for music nerds. . . . . There is a difference between "Feel" and "Groove". Groove is the actual rhythmic patterns present in the song. Feel is how you play those patterns and accents.

You can teach most capable musicians how to play a specific groove (depending on how intricate it is). But, the difference between "good, solid" musicians and "great, professional" musicians is the ability to feel the groove in a cool way that makes the song come alive, makes hands clap, hips sway, people bounce.
